Where have the days gone where just being good at your job was enough❓⠀⠀⠀⠀
The world has become awash with false advertising, fake news, fixed terminology and influencers dictating the consumer!
And the unfortunate thing is, 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁❗
We get sucked in by those who sound like they know what they are talking about, who look good on social media and who portray this perfect working ethos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sadly, that's also the case with the industry I'm a part of. Some of the best and most knowledgeable therapists I've ever worked alongside don't use social media. They don't showcase their knowledge to a broader audience and have built up a solid client base over years of simply doing a good job 👏⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unfortunately, people who need help with their injury, pain or performance (nice little Injury Mechanics tag line there) don't get to see these therapists as they're convinced their issue can be rectified by a few vague stretches, placebo therapies and unnecessary scans they're force-fed by social media 🥲⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wherever you are in the world, if you're struggling with an injury, research the therapist 𝗻𝗼𝘁 their followers list ✌️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
