Continued importance of client rapport

I've spoken before about the importance of developing a healthy rapport with clients

Last Wednesday evening I received a text from a client at 10:51pm saying "𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝗲. 𝗜'𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱. 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲?"

Now, obviously as an old man, I was well asleep by then!

However, by 9:30am the following day we'd managed to squeeze a 10-minute call in to discuss, explain and reassure that what he was experiencing wasn't anything to be concerned about and by doing X, Y & Z his discomfort would settle prior to his next appointment

Saturday morning 12:09pm: "𝗞𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻."
A text that made my weekend!

The point is, at Injury Mechanics we try to break down the barrier between clinician and patient. We want you to be comfortable discussing issues you may have in relation to your injury and rehabilitation. If that's spending a bit of time sitting with a brew and having a relaxed chat then so be it!

The team and I are here to help you. How we achieve that will differ from person to person but rest assured WE WILL find the route of your problem

Have a cracking week!
